An ode to fandom:
I think I'm finally ready to accept that my time in fandom on this website is over. I've been out of it for a while, but now I'm willing to let go. 
Yet I still see the screenshots of convos and comments I had with different people two and three years ago, and it's really bittersweet. 
Yes, at the ripe old age of 15 I'm moving on. But this has actually been a process for a while. All of my close friends I met on here are long gone, everyone I knew is reduced to screenshots and chat history. While this is incredibly sad, it is also an example of how powerful and amazing fandom can be.
Fandom brings people together from all around the world to talk about what they love. There's excitement, there's fights, there's so many updates, and so much going on. Fandom is a truly magical thing.
This site has seen some of my best moments, and some of my worst, all of you have been with me through thick and thin. When I was at the prime of my fandom career I didn't realize how much I would look back and appreciate these moments. 
So I just want to say thank you.
I will forever be thankful for everyone on this site, and the stories shared. I truly think fandom made me a better writer, and a better person, getting to talk with you all. 
I don't think I will ever fully close this account, but leave it more as a time capsule to what used to be. (Maybe you will even catch me somewhere on AO3 <3)((and yes I changed my username back. After all I will forever be the og CHB4Ever on this site, and I don't want that to change.))
In the end, I love all of you so so much. Thank you for the moments, the memories, the laughs. The warm fuzzy feelings, and angst. The one shots and the stories that lasted days. Thank you for being with me in fandom. 
Thank you for being my home for so long. 
You all will shine like gold in my memories. <3
