I've been pretty good tho, finally in school holidays now and had a little bit of break from a really stressful term but now I gotta go back to study to not fall behind first day back lol

When I realized life isn't worth living,
I began talking to the tree;
Its branches were not shriveled,
But surely done with destiny.
I felt its pain unalarmed,
And touched its fragile arms;
It told me that its parents
Had never brought it harm.
But deep within the leaves
I saw it could not breathe
Struggling for a Peace,
that had always ceased.
I thought I don't understand
But that is just not true
Because my heart is heavy
And nothing feels that new.
I understood it fully,
Yet I didn't want to,
So I could also find the Peace
that this tiny tree clung to,
Searching for a place
Where beauty does await
And all the things we hate
Must simply dissipate.

@sweet_bookishtiger Yeah...The things in my ELA class did go quite well :) I got a 96% on my test and 110% and 107% on my other projects. So, I'm fairly happy about that :D My winter break is technically 2 weeks long, but then I have to stay home for another week for my school's Project Week. And I understand what you mean, and normally I'd do the same, but this time I'm so tired I don't think my brain would be able to handle that. Hopefully you're right about the future :') Yes...I actually had two kittens but one died before the other. Now, I hope they've found each other again...And I thank you for the hug.
