I have met the kindest people on here. But yesterday I came across the most condescending person. Things don’t come
          	Across the same when you type them out as they are in your head or when you talk in person. I read a book that the sequel wasn’t updated for a year. So I commented asking if they are going to continue or if not the say the book is on hold or not being continued because spending time on something that hasn’t been updated is a waste of time and I have so many messages of people asking to read their book..... the author was pi$$ed. I apologized about how it came across. I shouldn’t have said anything.But then she comes back saying I’m selfish and blah blah blah then tried to school me. My kids are older than her and she wants to tell me about life. I don’t care how many readers a person has being rude is not ok. And my pet peeve is books just left.At least day it’s discontinued or on hold. And it was a great book.But her attitude made me delete it. Even after apologizing she was so rude that’s what I’m frustrated with.

I have had an idea for a story.I keep going back and forth because I am absolutely not a writer.But when I told my daughter the story.Basically a run through of the 1st chapter she said it gave her chills.Then I told my sons my idea and my youngest said he can’t wait to hear more and that it sounds like a movie.However I’m there mom so they will back me but also they have never seen how incredible these writers on Wattpad are.My daughter would have to read it to correct errors.I just don’t know.I am not a creative person and most of the ideas I have for it come from songs I love.Also a few dreams I have had. Uh just wanted to get that off my chest.

@CalMom if you have a story you want to tell then write it! Writing takes practice and work, so just do it. And if you decide maybe you don't want your kids to read it, then maybe you could look for a beta? You've got nothing to lose by giving it a go ❤
