"If Shaun White and Jennifer Lawrence had a kid, it would be you." A friend once told me that, and she couldn't have pegged me better. 

Growing up in Pennsyltucky, I was always the outsider to the outsiders. My imagination took me everywhere, and I fell in love with writing at a very young age. After suffering a stroke at the age of twenty-two, my love for writing remained, but I struggled to find my voice again. Slowly, over the years, I've gotten back into writing, discovering that writing anything was better than not writing at all. Now, I'm finally ready and able to dedicate myself to writing again and see what I can create. 

I've spent years making up stories about my animals and the things they do in their spare time. I've decided to turn them into children's stories that the whole family can also enjoy. My main focus, however, is writing adult fiction. I am hoping to share some short stories while I work on my first novel. 

I always like to find out random tidbits about my favorite authors, so here are mine. My hobbies include arguing with inanimate objects, sewing, taking care of my colony of cats and wildlife, and discovering new things about myself that make me realize I'm an eighty year old trapped in a thirty-something's body. My favorite television show is One Tree Hill, and my favorite movies are The Princess Bride and Twister. I have two dogs and six cats. I once helped my aunt return something she accidentally stole from the store back to the shelf by flirting with the guy who works there. He definitely thought we were up to something.
