I'm the author of A Girl Called Fearless (St. Martin's Press, 2014) and the sequel, A Girl Undone (June 23, 2015). The series is in development for a cable tv series. 

My favorite thing to do other than writing is traveling, and I'm obsessed with wildlife. The most amazing places I've been and coolest things I've seen are:

1.  Hundreds of walrus playing like puppies in the waves in Svalbard by the Arctic Circle.

2. Pink dolphins in the Amazon. Their skin really is pink!

3. Black marine iguanas splayed across the trails in the Galapagos. They sneeze to get rid of the salt in   their bodies and it sprays on your ankles.

4. Orca feeding in the Gerlach Straits in Antarctica at 3 AM.
