Chapter 7 is shorter than my usual chapters, but I wanted it posted to mark a shifting point in my story. I plan to go back and edit the first seven chapters, maybe adding some new scenes in the next few weeks, but I'll let you guys know which ones have been lengthened. I'm definitely looking forward to writing more about Oliver's story, and revealing how it intertwines with that of Detta, Kieran, and Ven. So, sorry for this chapter's brevity, but I'll be revealing more about Oliver, the others, and some characters you haven't met yet in the next few chapters of Silk Hat on a Windowsill.
