Nita jumped again and clawed her fingers into Sandy's arm. Under the warm skin she could hear an equally fast heartbeat throbbing. Feeling Bonnie's eyes on her, she quickly looked away from the fuzzy head and instead looked around for the source of the noise.
A door had opened! Only two steps away from them! Judging by the clicking sound, it had just been closed tightly.
Then how could it have opened on its own? That's not possible! Except...
