A late bloomer when it comes to writing. I began my journey into composing poetry and prose at the age of seventy and have now published six books. My works are varied but I tend to write simple verse and so consider myself more of a street poet rather than a strict student of the art. I sometimes rage against inequities that permeate our everyday life and will stray on occasion to the beauty of nature. I am somewhat fascinated by life itself and in particular the aging process and all that it entails leading me to attempt philosophical works that explore the feelings and questions that I assume most of us experience as we climb the ladder of advanced age. Above all, I try to provide questions for those that read might ponder as well as opinions that may at times invoke challenges from my peers. Life is a never ending exploration and the seekers that attempt to unravel its mysteries are many and it is my hope that some of my works may reach them and provide a spark of inspiration.
