So after having a pretty long Hiatus, I'm slowly hoping to come back. 2023 was a tough year. I don't know if I feel ready to talk about it so publically, but I sort of lost my way in the process after being on a rollercoaster of emotions. 
          
          Once I feel relatively happy with the editing for "Once Hungry, Twice Bitten," I will finish where I left off with the sequel. 
          
          I'm not ready to rejoin any book clubs just yet <3

          I wasn’t going to say anything, but then I realised that this topic isn’t talked about often and that people sometimes suffer in silence. 
          
          May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. 
          
          I recently am going through a miscarriage after finding out the happy news that we were expecting. Two weeks ago,  I was in my own happy little bubble of picturing what a ‘family of three’ would look like, picking baby names and warming to the idea of becoming an expectant mother. 
          
          I had a love/hate relationship with the pregnancy hormones, but nothing will ever replace the feeling you get when you know you’re carrying a little human inside. 
          
          I’m glad I told a few people because if I hadn’t, the aftermath of having a miscarriage would be isolating without the ongoing support from friends and family. 
          
          Please speak up and don’t feel ashamed. Enjoy the little moments and cherish the little miracles that come into your life, even if they may not last. 
          
          I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to grieve something/someone I never got to meet, but in order to heal, I know I have to go a step in the right direction to move forward.

Who’s going to enter the Wattys this year? Every year I plan on entering and I was so hyped for this year, but something personal has happened, so sadly I won’t be able to participate. ❤️✨
