          I've been pretty active on my account lately, and as if dropping two new stories wasn't enough work for me, I decided to upload the translation of Checkmate here! 
          
          Not many of you know this about me, but I just happen to be tri language, French being my first language. I've been writing for about five years now and almost none of my friends have been able to enjoy my stories. So, to fix the issue, there's now a French version of Checkmate available for any French speaker who would be interested in this story.

          As you may have noticed this morning, there's a new story now available on my page. After a year of procrastination, I've decided to throw caution to the wind and just start uploading. The feedback I get on this platform always helps me figure out how the story should go, on instead of overthinking every plot point, I'm taking things one step at a time. Expect yet another addition to my roster sometime tonight or tomorrow.

          I know I haven't been the best at keeping up with the uploads. The last ten months have been especially trying for me. Recently I found my footing again. Literally and mentally as well, so you can expect more updates. For those interested in Checkmate, I'll be finishing this story first. It's been a long time coming. Who else struggles with balancing dialogues and descriptions?
          
          Like, I try to give enough of both but then the word count is too much and I think I’m being too descriptive so I remove some but then the chapter feels bland.
          
          Any tips? Or is this is me overthinking.
