Hey folks, I just wanna saw a few things, so if you’re willing to read then it means a lot.
I started writing on this account in 2019, and the support that I’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive and I’d like to thank you all for that. I have seen some posts (mostly screenshots from tiktok or discord) where people have expressed their displeasure with my writing, but they’re the ones that keep reading it so the joke is on them I suppose.
I know that updates have been slow, and I really am trying to get things out, but even with the help I am receiving from my friend (which I honestly couldn’t write this without her), I’m still struggling immensely.
I don’t want to lose my love for JTHM, however constantly having to immerse myself in it for the sake of writing when I just don’t have the energy to do so is draining, and I’d just like to enjoy that universe on my own time.
Trust me when I say that I am NOT abandoning the fics, they will still get finished, however I’m getting to a point where I can’t in good faith keep promising that chapters will be out soon because I just don’t know. Both my mental and physical health is getting in the way of things, and the stress of not updating is really getting to me.
All this to say that I, Grime (or whatever you may call me), am taking a hiatus. Any future posts will not be made by me unless specifically stated otherwise. I will still be writing, don’t worry about that, and the story for the fic will still go as intended, however I won’t be the primary writer and I likely won’t be responding to any comments.
I’ve had this story in my head for 4 years now, and I intend on finishing it no matter how long it takes, even if it means I have to take leave for now. This isn’t an easy decision, but I’ve mulled over it for weeks and have decided that being on the account just isn’t worth it for the foreseeable future. I will return one day, though.
