Not at all!(: I just meant I'd never heard of it because nobody did it in my area! It sounds like a lot of work though, but I bet it does pay off! It actually sounds pretty cool. I might know a few people who would do it but not enough... Do you have to have like certain age groups for a team or just anyone in school? And does it have to be a teacher at school to train them? @Funomania102

@Cowman16 I'm sure Texas has NASP... Somewhere. Me and my dad were looking for my score at a tournament, and we saw that a tournament had been done at Texas. I can't remember where, though. At the Nationals tournament, usually Canadians come! I'm sure there's some Texas teams there. It might take a bit to form a team, because you have to have I think 15 or something people to go into tournaments, and there has to be money put it into getting "school" bows. You need places to practice, because not everyone can do practice at home, and people who want to put their time into training students. A lot of work, but worth it. I think archery is something anyone can do. If I went to your school, I'd help you try and start a program. No offense, Btw... If you took this that way.

Haha no I think it's great to hear what other people think of it!(: and I'm glad you're inspired, when you really begin to enjoy it that's when you improve the most! And that's so cool! I'd never heard of NASP before, mostly because my school never offered anything like it, but I think that's a really great experience! I've been practicing in my backyard all this time, hoping they'd start at least an archery club at my school, haha, I'll have to talk to some teachers and see if I can get them to start one! I live all the way in Texas! @Funomania101

@Cowman16 I use to think of it like something I had to do, until I had an inspiration to keep going. I was getting tired of going to practice, and I was transferring to the middle school team, so everything was different. I got my inspiration at one of my terrible shoots. The arrows were hard to pull from the brand new targets and my arms shook while pulling it back. The next tournament after that, with my inspiration already come, I shot way better. I found out my arm muscles weren't strong enough to stand and wait with the string pulled back. The competition is that I could get kicked out of the team, because of my scores, and the trophies I could earn during school. I guess we are do competitive because the county I'm in is one of the birthplaces of NASP. It all started their for Kentucky I believe :D (sorry for the bio, lol)

It does!(: It's such a fun sport. And it doesn't seem like a competition, more like practicing with a bunch of others who enjoy the same thing as you is the way I like to think of it! Although I haven't even started competing so I might change my mind, hahah(: I hope not! As soon as it becomes a task is when I'll take a break, I don't want it to seem like something that I have to do because it takes the fun out of it! @Funomania101
