BrandyQ Lane

My name is BrandyQ Lane, I was born in 1963.
You might say that I have lived many lives in my one lifetime.
I have experienced: paranormal, abusive relationships, crazy people, living on the edge, settling down, sorrow, laughter, spirituality, raising children, love, loss, having it all, not knowing where my next meal was coming from, drug abuse, celebrating fifteen years of sobriety, compassion, charity, being there for everyone, being alone, anxiety, trust issues, low self-esteem and overcoming all odds.

For many years my children asked me to write my experiences down, and at first I didn't think anything about it. But then in 2018 I lost my mother to cancer followed by my sister, my Aunt, and Uncle and his wife and then my best friend. I thought to myself that they were all such interesting people who no longer have their stories to tell.

I don't want to end my life with no words left for my children, so I write.
I write the truth, whether it be unbelievable, I stand my ground.
When I write fiction I say it is fiction, I don't have any reason to lie about it. With a life-like mine, you don't have to lie.
Just because you have never been through something doesn't mean it is not possible. I laugh a lot, I care too much and I am always looking for answers.

When I write I try to put you behind my eyes so you can see what I see.
