Today was my official last day of the Disney College Program, y'all, and it's starting to hit. For those who don't know, the DCP is an internship for college students and recent graduates. During the internship, you are given a random role at Disney World and work for them for anywhere from four months to one year (if you extend or are part of the ICP).

I was put in Custodial, and while I was hesitant at first, I learned to really appreciate the role and the people I worked with. I made so many friends down here and learned so much. Heck, I even wrote a novella, Milo and Maisie, based on the Disney College Program. I usually don't write stories based on real-life events unless they really impacted me.

Looking at my empty room, I realize how much I've accomplished in the past year and how these skills will help me in the long run. I'll always remember my Sports friends, but I still have Milo and Maisie, so the DCP will never truly be gone.

Thank you, Disney, for letting me create magic for the past year. :)

Hey, guys! DMs just disappeared, but I'm here to tell you if you would like to keep in touch, I'm on Discord (Victoria || CroodsGirl) and Facebook (Victoria Christie). :) Tomorrow is my last Disney work day, and then I'm out on the 9th. I'm crossing my fingers for a Park Ranger position I applied for back home, so wish me luck!

Love you all, and May the Force be with you! Happy Cinco de Mayo, too! I'm also working on Through the Wormhole, so keep an eye out!

Good evening, y’all! I’ve finished editing The Veracruz Ghost and have decided for Maisie to write a few more DCP novelettes, meaning a few more Milo and Maisie novelettes are on their way, as well as Milo and Maisie novel version! This is a fun way to share the DCP—through Maisie’s eyes—and is definitely a new thing I’m trying with writing. And don’t worry—I’m still working on Through the Wormhole, too!

And walla! The rest of Milo and Maisie: The Veracruz Ghost is up guys: the epilogue and some bonus material! With a final word count of 18,000, I've achieved my goal to start and finish a draft of Milo and Maisie before my DCP ended! While I'm Disneyed out, I can't wait to return to Milo and Maisie soon and expand it into a novel! All my DCP memories will be in this book, and because of that, I shall forever cherish it.

Have fun with Milo and Maisie and Milo and Maisie: The Veracruz Ghost, y'all! I worked hard on them. :)

I'm so close to being done with The Veracruz Ghost, y'all! So close! I'm about halfway through the last chapter. It looks like my plan to finish it before I leave the DCP may work out after all. This also means you're going to read the plot twist soon! It's in this final chapter. :)

I forgot how hard it can be to come up with lore for a legend while writing the next chapter of The Veracruz Ghost, especially since I like to add symbolism in my lore. I'll get through it, though.

And good news--Milo and Maisie has been Featured by @The_Reading_Room ! Thank you so much!

I’m sad to admit that I’ve lost my Disney magic y’all. I’m so exhausted with my CP and am ready to get out of here. Don’t get me wrong—it was a wonderful experience. I just can’t do it anymore. I still have a week to go, though. Almost there, almost there. But I definitely do not think I can do another CP, and if I do return to Disney in the future, I’d rather it be with an editing or screenwriting job with them. That said, after I finish The Veracruz Ghost, I’m probably going to take a break from Milo and Maisie. I’m going to omit “Disney” from my vocabulary for a bit. I will always love Disney; I’m just Disneyed out.
