As well as chamois, other deer species, wallabies, rabbits, hares, feral goats, tahrs, feral pigs, and feral horses.
I don't think they could try their luck on mice, rats, weasels, stoats, ferrets, possums, hedgehogs, or cats. Mice, rats, and mustelids would be too fast, the feral cats would be too aggressive, hedgehogs are spikey, and the possums would easily avoid them due to them being obviously arboreal.

Anyhow, I would like to see that the story is already off to a good start. Eliza and some of her animal friends will soon head to New Zealand to search for the albino moa.

Victims of the Atrox Army dogs:
Orieus: Sakhalin Husky. Orieus was a leader of a very large pack in the northern regions of Ectasia, one of the islands of Monster Island. Orieus and his pack contacted the other packs to aid them against the Atrox Army dogs. Many of Orieus's pack was brutally slaughtered and torn apart by the Atrox Army dogs. Orieus was killed by Daimon.
Nabu: Tesem mix. Nabu was a leader from a neighboring pack in the western regions of Ectasia, one of Monster Island's islands. He and his pack came to help Orieus to fight against the Atrox Army dogs to defend their island home. The Atrox Army dogs easily wiped out Orieus and his pack. Nabu tried to help the females and puppies to escape, but he was killed by Viktor.
Rajhu: Northern Jaro-Southern Jaro mix. Raihu was a leader from a neighboring pack in the eastern regions of Ectasia, one of Monster Island's islands. He and his pack came to help Orieus to fight against the Atrox Army dogs to defend their island home. The Atrox Army dogs easily wiped out Raihu's pack. Raihu was torn apart and mauled to death by Daimon.
Roamer: Karelian Bear Dog. Roamer was a leader of a neighboring pack in the central regions of Ectasia, one of Monster Island's islands. Sadly, Roamer and the rest of his pack were overwhelmed and brutally slaughtered by the Atrox Army dogs. The Atrox Army dogs overwhelmed and massacred Roamer's pack.
