Exams! And stress! Boo :( I'm drowning in a pool of my own tears, people!

Hey yall, I've been meaning to be more active announce-wise, but it just hasn't happened. Now that I have the time, I'll share some of them now:
Feb 12: Chapter 23 is out, and it's not for the faint of heart! An excerpt below:
["So, what happened?" Ren prompted, reaching for his hand to ground him.
"It was... a mission," Chase stammered.
Ren leaned into the leather couch. A mission. Could it be a coincidence, the wording Chase used?
Heaps upon heaps of questions piled up, but he needed more information before jumping to conclusions. Hasty, horrible conclusions. "I didn't know you had a... job. A mission for who?"
"You know who, Ren. And it's not their fault, I just wasn't careful enough. It's fine..."
He was lying, and Ren hated it. The sniper also understood it, though. More than he wanted to admit.]

@CrystalCallistral okay i remeber when me and my sister had been reading ur orignial one of this - i really wonder if i sister remebers it bc i LOVE IT - but i am just waiting for final preps to it <3 cuz i got short term memeoiy already lmao - but this book i remeber that had a seens or the florist or flowerist of whatever it was - urest <3
