I created my account when I was in fourth grade and began writing stories that made me happy. When I began junior high I realized I could be doing something more with my stories, and creating impact with my words. In sixth grade I attended a class called Global Citizens where I learned more about our world's problems such as poverty, global warming, natural disasters, day zero, and lack of potable water. After learning more about these problems, I started my first book "Dear Day Zero". While writing this book, I travelled to the north shore where I went snorkeling and saw the most colorful underwater scene of my life. A year later I went snorkeling in San Diego and was confronted by a graveyard of bleached piles of coral blanketed with dead coral. I guess these problems never end... Unless we take action ourselves
