Creatures Dead is the over night saga of a small west Texas community suffering the mass escape of a wildlife sanctuary.  full of thrilling showdowns between man and beast from sundown to sun up.

The Forbidden War follows a handful of  far-flung individuals caught up in a sudden war on the Korean peninsula.  Unlikely innocents are brought together in bizarre twists of fate as the world is pulled into the conflict.

Marc of Battle tells the story of a small town sheriff catapulted into the fall of Constantinople. pressed into service to deliver a secret weapon to the besieged city, Marc encounters a strange world including giants, demons, dervishes, blue angels and more.

Bot is a sci-fi encounter between humans and artificial intelligence in its first manifestation after the Singularity.  A team of think tank scientists are caught up in the whirlwind struggle between the military and a fast expanding arsenal of robots at war.

Misery is a collection of poems based on the 1900 storm of Galveston Texas, the worst storm in our nation's history.

The Book of Joe includes Vietnam war poetry gleaned from the experiences of a deeply embedded warrior during turbulent times in our society.

Exploded View represents a collection of poems exploring  the view that exploded parts of the whole offers unique introspection and insights.  

Both Book of Joe and Exploded view were selected by Cleveland State University Press in an open competitions.

Mark Kessinger has been widely published in literary magazines and has been included in several national anthologies.
