Murphinator

Hey there!
My name is D'Carlo Murphy and I'm an aspiring writer.

I first started when I was a kid in primary school writing in a black and white book and pasting it around for my friends to read and just seeing them smile was good enough for me. Then I tried Fanfiction which went well! At first at least, with almost 100,000 views on a story that I must admit I barely proofread (views were so easy to get back then). Then the sequel got 10,000...then the remake got 3,000...you get the point!

So after a lost of confidence and going on a journey of a thousand miles, climbed a few mountains, did some meditating, had to find the ancient golden monkey, fought a few ninjas and stole the lost relic of diamonds and found the lost city of Minecraft (and by all of that I mean after a few months, a burger and a soda) I got my confidence back and decided to publish my first original novel 'On the Outer Rim'.

On the Outer Rim is my first, big, novel. I always wrote my previous ones just for fun but for this I've put a lot of time and effort into it. Its the first novel I'm writing that has more back story than I actually first planned. For every single character and the universe its actually placed in, everything has backstory. Its definitely the first novel I've ever written that could branch off into other books to explain a character's story and how they're important to the plot and just to explain their personal conflict just to let people learn more about their favorite character.
