It's been a year since I returned to writing on this website and I can't wrap my head around whether it feels like it's not been that long already or if it feels it's been a lot longer than that. Either way, it feels so weird and I'm happy to have been able to return and do the writing that I have done this past year, and I hope to be able to keep enjoying writing like this in the future.

Yo!
Take a look at this attempted novelization of your splatoon story by chatgpt pt.1 :

The subway rumbled underneath me, the lights flickering briefly as the ground trembled. I paused, heart skipping for a moment, before the lights steadied again.

"This is great!" I thought, glancing around with a mix of awe and excitement. "Don't get me wrong—I would've loved to move to Inkopolis Plaza, but that place is expensive. I've heard there are these popstars called Off the Hook here, and that they're really good! Honestly, I think this was a great move."

          Me and my fat mouth.

The subway screeched as it slowed, finally coming to a halt. I stepped off as we reached the destination, curiosity tugging at me. Something felt…off. I exited the station, looking around to figure out what had just happened.

Subways are bad, but not THAT bad, I told myself, trying to shake the unease.

The first glance at Inkopolis Square was breathtaking. The vibrant colors, the music, the energy—it hit me all at once. But on second glance, my chest tightened.

          Oh poo.
          The Great Zapfish is gone!

I stared up at the giant screen above Inkopolis Square, where the two iconic members of Off the Hook had just appeared. I'd seen them online before, but this was the real deal.

"Y’all know what time it is!" Pearl shouted with her signature flair.

Marina followed up smoothly, "It’s Off the Hook, coming at you LIVE from Inkopolis Square!"

Pearl jumped in again, “Check it! Here are the current Regular Battle stages!”

Marina spun her records confidently, shifting the battle stage images on the screen. She did it twice, each time revealing a new scene.

"Look at me! I'm Marina! BLAH BLAH BLAH!" Pearl teased, imitating her bandmate.

Marina laughed. "Ahaha! Yeah, that's so me!"

           "Ha." I chuckled.

Pearl then continued, “And these are the current Ranked Battle stages!”

Marina spun the records again, updating the display.

“Ahhhhhh! I just love the smell of the salty sear air!" Pearl shouted
          Thoughts?

Have you heard of 'Die With A Smile'?. No gonna lie, I imagined y/n and Marina singing that song

DForrester

@Masterlasheron Just listened to it. Pretty good, and now I'm seeing it in my head, lol. I might have to put it at the top of my next Marina-centered chapter or something else I have planned
