I don’t know about anyone else, but seeing all these votes and comments on my stories is making me feel warm and fuzzy.

          	Thank you :-x <3

We haven’t finished yet. Chuckle! The next one Sophie is 9 ( Bree is 13) and she sings beautifully and learning the piano. ( my maternal grandmother was an opera singer and her sisters ran a very prestigious ballet school) tonight she has a ballet recital and two nights ago, a singing recital. On the weekends she rides horses and has started netball. Very, very academic. Ofcourse having a teacher as a Mum helps that early learning before school. Actually Jess teaches her at school and says she is good in class with that but on the way home she gets told who needs help, who needs discipline, who is not doing as they should etc. Jess finds that a bit confronting. Chuckle!
Now the little one Harriett (or Harry as I call her) who zings through life without a worry. She confident, self assured and fully aware. Also I need to mention the most beautiful looking child. Smarter than any of them in the household Jess says but a quiet achiever. Loves animals and the farm.
My garden is finished and growing beautifully. We have had some spring rains and it always looks wonderful after a rain.
Turning 71 this December which is reflective. John will be 74. Mortality is a thought but it is what it is. We have been vaccinated and both have good health.
I am sure you indicated that Prince said you would find someone to share your life with. I have been with John 54 years and 50 married. We are really ‘two peas in a pod.’ We spent hours in the garden yesterday spreading straw for mulch.
I will try to email you some recent photos of the garden soon.
Please keep in touch. I am going to read your books again after finishing what I am reading. Prince stories are thin on the ground now as we say down under. I do hope HumanNature82 finishes her book and Intoxication is another book I like but not finished yet.

Dear Dana,
Xmas is almost here again. Wishing you all happiness and health for 2022. I hope Prince is still in your life and keeps you smiling.
Mena, my friend who looked after Prince 1992 in Australia, told me that her friend spent the night with him. So tempting but too disrespectful to inquire.
My granddaughters are a true delight to our lives. They communicate, love and care for us in such a beautiful way. I tell my son Ben that as parents, he and Jess have done so much better than I think we did. Ben and James lacked but our time, as we worked too much. They are wonderful sons so I guess we did something right or it is in the genes.
Alice has almost finished her first year at boarding school in Adelaide. She has done very well and loves the school but not keen on boarding. She said to me, “ well! I guess I will have to suck it up.” One way of putting it. She has turned 15 and 5’7” tall and still growing. Her Mum, Jess, is 5’10”and Alice is the living image of her.
Bree, or Breezy as we call her, looks like Ben and me. We have olive skin whereas Jess and Alice are very fair. Ben skateboards with her and they have recently taken up surfing. She is very good at athletics and sport. Both are very academic and Alice won her scholarship for school in Adelaide.
I hope I am not sounding too bias because I am very much so…….

Ive hit book 4 and I’m so torn between ending 1 or 2. My heart is so into the story and wrapped up it’s a battle. I didn’t think it would be this hard :’( which one do you think I should start with?!

DanaLarson5

Ouch. If you’re hearts truly into it, go with Forever In My Life. My Love is Forever will be too much to handle.

I read you also had surgeries. Purple candlelight was missing for quite awhile and she did mention infection soon after surgery, so you think the worst. I hope you are also well on the road to complete recovery. Life down under is fine and my granddaughters are little women now. Alice starts boarding school next year which will be life changing for all of us. She is very good at her studies and needs a school that will challenge her.( her words) Sophie, the third one, who sings, does ballet and drama, plays piano, swimming, has now added horse riding to her list of after school achievements. We are full time taxi drivers. She is very good at school also, so her world is broad. This beach holiday Bree (11) is learning to surf with her Dad. She worked for him to save up for her secondhand board. Harry, the youngest is still zinging in her happy world of animals, books and friends. They are a joy to see and be so involved with. John and I are very lucky grandparents to be so loved.
Did your PP visit bring a man into your life as you intimated in your lovely correspondence after your trip? I guess covid has brought things to a halt at PP. Do you still feel Prince in your life? I hope you do as that was important to you at that time. Do take care and look after yourself. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Margi. NB still trying to finish your books again.

@loswithiel It's amazing at how your grandchildren are transitioning into adult hood so fast!

I'm a tad confused, I'm not sure I indicated that my visit to PP would bring a man into my life, other than Prince. Still single, and no prospects, just a crush that I know will not be good for me in the long run. Yes, I still feel Prince in my life, and he's always there to offer me some side eye or words of advice. LOL

Thank you for the wonderful update and for asking about my hand surgeries, they are now fully recovered and it's such a relief not to be in so much pain anymore.

I've been doing more to take care of myself, weight loss and trying to regain some of the mobility I've lost due to my widespread arthritis. It's a long road, but I'm happy to say there has been quite a bit of progress.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, and sending up prayers for a healthier, happier New Year for all of us <3

Hello Dana. I hope you don't mind me writing to you. I have just my third (or could be 4th!) reread of your excellent books and wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am sure it takes a huge amount of time and effort and emotional cost to write like this. While I am sure it is also a cathartic experience for you, it has a similar effect for the reader (speaking for my self but I am sure others feel the same).
I have had interactions with him similar to the ones you described and they have also inspired me to be creative but when I read your writing - and a few others - I prefer to keep them to my self.
I read here that you have had surgery lately, I wish you all the very best for a speedy recovery.

          best,
          Annie

@AnnieWard0 Oh, my goodness, I've been trying to reply to you for days but Wattpad isn't cooperating with me. LOL

Of course, I don't mind you writing to me, I love hearing from people who have read and enjoyed my stories (especially the ones who have read multiple times) thank you!

I worried about putting myself out there with how crazy it sounded that I was 'guided' to write these stories, but I'm hearing a lot of interactions just like this. These interactions are priceless and really, I only wrote them down in attempts to remember them. Of course I was 'prompted' to share and so glad that I did, I've met some amazing people through them.

Yes, it took a very long time from start to finish, but it definitely was a healing experience. I still feel the healing when I revisit them myself and is why I have started to attempt to edit them. Prince whispers: "They can always be better." so I'm trying.

Thank you for the well-wishes on my recovery! My right hand is doing really well, and I have one more week of this hard cast before I can start physical therapy on my left. I'm going to see if I can write something on here about this type of procedure and my recovery to maybe help anyone who may be on the fence or interested in knowing a bit more. (LRTI)

If you ever do decide to share your stories, I would love to read them <3
