Dante Langston is a recent immigrant to Coimbra, Portugal. A younger version of the author wrote for various newspapers in Western North Carolina and, and diverse special interest magazines.

is debut novel is inspired by his expatriate experiences in Portugal and was a work of love and exploration. Given the long winter rainy season on the Iberian Peninsula, he chose to design the book cover and learn about the editing and administrative work required to publish independently.

He enjoys his European adventures with his wife, Jeanne, who contributed her skills in editing and proofreading, an essential part of this endeavor. He spends the good weather exploring local mountain villages and backroads on his two-wheel chariots of desire.
