"Stop!Stop" Adeline shouted to Cain from the top of the flight of stairs. Cain who was just about to walk out the door glared at her with a frustrated look in his eyes.

"Nothing you can do or say will change my decision Adeline, I can never love you" Adeline burst out in tear as his last words they hurt even more as they echoed round the mansion ensuring her of the lonleyness that awaited her once he left.

What could she ever do to convince this mad man of her true feelings and make his see she could do anything for him. Then a wicked thought flashed in her head. 

Cain did not have time to react when she threw herself head down on the flight of staircase rolling into the arms of death with one thought in mind 'I'll rather die than see him happy with someone else.
