"Alice Reaper, a young woman at university, is tormented by visions of her past. Fire. Ashes. Shards. As her visions increasingly become more horrific her anxiety and depression cause her to not be able to function. She rejects the notion that there is anything to do about it and attempts to accept her state of despair. Moreover, she feels that she deserves it. Fate, however, has other ideas.
A new friend, Ionel, introduces Alice to his sister, Viviana. Lover of the occult and avid tarot reader, she offers Alice services in the hopes that they will comfort Alice and help guide her. Not only does Alice receive the opportunity of introspection she never knew she needed; she takes a step forward to embrace her vulnerability and confronts the demons that await her in the darkness…
