          Apologies for my sudden disappearance, I've been busy in the last few days. 
          
          And with this latest chapter, we reached the end of an arc and I'll mark the book complete until the Open Novella Contest is over or I don't make it to the longlist. I'm curious to see how far it'll go.
          
          I'll continue writing the rest of the story offline and post them later. Thank you to those who supported the novella so far; I wasn't expecting to see so many reads with little to no marketing.  
          
          They're still small compared to others, but I'm happy how my reads remained consistent throughout my updates. It means someone out there is enjoying Daisy's awkward journey.

          In three chapters, I'll be closing the story's arc and marking it complete for it to be eligible for the Open Novella Contest. In the end, I wrote a lot and I'm close to hitting 40K words (the rules state I cannot write beyond that number).
          
          I hope everything makes sense since I focused more on the characters' backgrounds and relationships and only a small number of chapters ago, the story started moving forward and Daisy will finally try to help the Spadas.
          
          I'll still keep writing the rest of the story offline and I'll post the rest of the chapters later, depending on how far this novella version makes it in the contest.
