Holy crap i just had a close call with death
Okay, not literal death, but death on the inside
So, one of my teachers called today (my english/writing teacher) and told my mom that I'm a really gifted and talented writer, to which my mother responded with, "They are!! What's funny is that they weren't great at writing last year, but we let them get an account on this 'Wattpad' website, and their writing improved a lot!!"
No problem, really, until it gets to this point:
My teacher said, "Oh, I'd love to read what they write. Would they be comfortable with telling me what their story is called?"
PANIC. MODE. ENGAGED.
My mom looked at me to see what I would say, to which I responded with mouthing 'No!', shaking my head, and making little 'x' signs with my arms.
Keep in mind, my parents don't know what I write. They don't even know my username on here, so they haven't got a friggin clue what I do on here. My teacher probably thinks I write tasteful shit, and Im just wasting my life writing Hazbin fanfic >.<
Now my mom is wondering why the hell i was so defensive/secretive over my wattpad stories....CRAP.
