          Updates on life:
          My bday is in less than a week
          I auditioned for the school musical (first audition ever) but I didn’t get cast
          The semester’s class schedule is gonna be the end of me

Okay, don’t bully me, but I finally got around to watching Les Mis and I cried at the end. 
          
          Yes, yes it was the movie version and movie versions are never as good as the actual stage productions, but you know what, I don’t care. If they can deliver the same story with great emotions and good performances, I’m happy. Not everyone can go see a stage performance live, and though I’d love to, I’ll take what I can get, and I’ll say that this was still pretty darn good.

If you’ve never read the short story, “The Gift of the Magi” please do. It literally brings a tear to my eye omg

@FCCleary For real. It’s one of those stories that I think everyone should read at some point, even though as you said they may have already seen an iteration of it

@DragonRose25 I love this story. I read it a couple years in a row for the kids I nanny. It's one of my favorites; I consider it foundational literature, and I think I'm justified considering how often the plot has been adapted for TV and film.
