दुर्गा-नन्दनी

नमामि त्वां जगदम्बिके विश्वगर्भे,
महाकालि शरण्ये परमेश्वरप्रिये।
महादेवसंयुते शूलधरे प्रभे,
कालिकां त्रिनयने जगज्जननी॥

शूलपाणे रुद्राणी भयहारिणी,
त्रिपुरां त्रिनयने जगज्जगत्पालिनी।
सर्वदेवमातरि जगज्जननी,
मां कालिकां नमामि सदा भक्त्या॥

Translation:
I bow to you, O Mother of the Universe, the origin of all beings,
Maha Kali, the refuge of all, beloved by Lord Shiva.
United with Mahadeva, wielding the trident, O divine one,
Goddess Kali, with three eyes, the mother of the world.

Bearer of the trident, O Rudrani, the dispeller of fear,
Destroyer of the three fortresses, the guardian of the universe.
The mother of all deities, the creator of the world,
I bow to you, Devi Kali, always with devotion.
