Hi guys! I learned from a concerned reader that my story “Before It’s Too Late” was published in Ficword. If you remember, we had the same issue with another site, which reasoned with “shadow publishing,” which we never really know how and why. But the worst about Ficword is that the author’s name was removed, and readers were charged to read per chapter. I urge you to check if your story is published without your knowledge and consent, too. If yes, you can email the site regarding copyright issues. I emailed them and asked them to remove my story from their site. If we all appeal, it might make them realize that a more extensive group is behind all these “shadowings” taking advantage of our stories.
