Welcome to my wattpad page. 

I am publishing here my book series "The Right People". In 20 volumes, it tells the story of a group of young people from Greece, Germany, England, and Australia, who joined a resistance group during the Greek military dictatorship (1967 - 1974). Through a series of coincidences they witnessed, and sometimes also played an active role in the political upheavals of this time in Europe, the Middle East and finally Africa, the effects of which are still being felt, sometimes very painfully, to this day. 

It all begins when Tom, a 15-year-old German, is visiting a married couple in Piraeus in 1969 and unintentionally attracts the attention of the Greek secret police. He meets Sophia, with whom he falls in love, her brother, who watches over his sister's chastity with eagle eyes, and Nikos, who becomes his best friend within minutes. 

Together they decide to rebel against the dictatorship. In the five years until the fall of the junta, the four young people experience unbelievable adventures with their friends, discover their first loves, survive threatening situations and grow up together. 

The two most important insights they gain in this exciting time are these: if you face the world and people with an open and impartial mind, you will always meet "the right people", and - there are no coincidences. 

I invite you to accompany Tom, Sophia, Georgios, Nikos and all the others on their journey - to Greece, Germany, England, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Portugal and finally the breathtakingly beautiful countries south of the Sahara Desert. 

This is not a history book, it is fiction. All characters, with the exception of those from contemporary history, are fictitious. However, great care has been taken to ensure historical accuracy. New chapters are uploaded every Friday. Please don't forget to like, comment and follow me.
