Hi! Thanks for the message. 
            I did not really promote my story besides consistently updating each chapter. If you are looking to gain more readers, I think updating regularly (2times a week or even just 1 per week) will be very helpful! (I am a very slow updater so I did like 1 chapter per month lol but I had the commitment to finish it no matter what.) Another tip is to read other people books, vote and comment on their story too! It doesn’t have to be new writer books. You can read those popular books and comment on those too. The type of comments I made was regarding the story plots and not promoting myself. I enjoyed reading a lot when it comes to romance so I just do comments in general if I actually got into it. (If you like romance like me and you write romance, then read and comment on those romance books would be very much help!) Sometimes other reader sees your comments and they might check you out and become your reader as well. I would do read for read but I am very busy in real life so I just don’t do them. (Readers that you got out from doing read4read usually won’t stick around at all.) I like writing romance in general and so I just write for fun in my free time honestly. I just keep on writing and going regardless of how many readers I have because I just want my ‘imagination’ to actually come to life and have a complete story. One more thing is to make sure your book cover looks good and fits the story theme. I think good cover attracts people and made me feel a bit more professional in a sense. The only promotion I did is just to paste my summary and title into those ‘promotion book’ just like how you might have found me, I assumed. Other than that I don’t do anything else. I hope this helps!
