Hello everyone. I’d like to talk about a really serious matter. Recently Sia came out with her trailer for her film Music. This film portrays an autistic girl who she picked Maddie Ziegler-a neurotypical person- to the play the part. This is bad enough as it takes a role away from an actual autistic person (only 16% of autistic people are given work in any industry!) 
          
          Unfortunately it gets worse! The film is extremely offensive and poorly executed. It’s clear that, despite what Sia has said, she hasn’t done her research. She portrays autism as if it causes brain damage. And acts as if autistic people walk around seeing the world like we’re on crack. We don’t.  (Watch the trailer and you’ll see what I mean) As an autistic woman myself, it genuinely made me feel sick. 
          
          Despite the immediate and very loud backlash that this film received, Sia defended it and made many silly excuses about it (she apparently has an autistic friend and therefore couldn’t possibly be offensive ) and proceeded to harass people, including calling an autistic actor a “bad actor” when they said that they would have been happy to play the role on a short notice. She also speaks very patronisingly towards Autistic people, calling us “special abilities people” and practically implying that she finds us cute. It’s...really patronising. 
          
          On top of everything (yes it gets worse!) Sia has been working with Autism Speaks which is a hate group. They treat autistic people like a disease and have said things like “autistic people will never be able to care for themselves or be social” and they don’t have a single autistic person on their board. 
          
          
          All of this is really upsetting and honestly disturbing. I used to love Sia but I cannot support her after this. If you want to see the trailer, the movie is called Music and is on YouTube.

Why are guys such cowards? My mums now ex boyfriend broke up with her over text, then gave her some lame excuse that “he just doesn’t feel like being a relationship”, as if that isn’t something he should have thought about months ago before they started dating, and then HE BLOCKED HER!!!!! Pardon my french but what a fucking douche bag! 
          
          He’s lucky I don’t drive yet otherwise I’d go on a little road trip and hit him with my car. 
          
          He should be grateful that someone as amazing as my mother even looked at someone like him. She’s leagues above him. She looks like she’s in her 30s, she’s gorgeous, she’s kind, she’s intelligent. He was old, fat, and the only thing he had going for him was his sense of humour. This is the equivalent of when JayZ cheated on Beyoncé. 
          
          My mother deserves better and I’m super pissed off right now. She really thought he was the one. And I actually trusted him and gave him a chance. Fat chance that will ever happen again.

I just want to let everyone know about a new social media for Radical Feminists called Spinster.xyz. Another very important petition here. Males have been committing serious crimes and then self identifying as women so all of their crimes are logged as being committed by women. (And sometimes they even get put in women only jails!) This behaviour is so misogynistic. And has to change. Why are women as a class being blamed for the crimes of men? This petition is to get the law amended so it won’t happen again. This is the first step in claiming back rights that have been lost through the “self ID laws.”
