Ella Blasabas

I started writing poems somewhere between 8 or 9 and short stories around 10. Reading, writing, and editing had been my passion since I was young. I did not have that much support for this growing up which caused me to put my efforts into something else. I left my hometown when I was 19 and tried to find myself and where my passion lies. It took awhile for me to find it, not knowing that it would just lead me back to that "past time," of writing stories that were dismissed over and over again. Writing is like falling in love for me. No matter how far I wandered away from it, or how much people try to put me down, I always find my way back. The solace and the healing I find in writing is like creating a piece of me that I want to share in the world, thus creating this profile and publishing in here.
