@amane_yo Oh no I never said you are being hateful or mean; I specify that the tone you carry is one of condensation like this is somehow new info for me which news flash-- it's not new info for me! I spend MONTHS on that fic, so that presume you know more than me by a simple 5-second Google search. "MADAME NEUVILLETTE" refers to the fact that the reader is MARRIED TO NEUVILLETTE you know why? because "NEUVILLETTE" is the character's LAST NAME. the character Neuvillette himself has been referred to IN FIC as "MONSIEUR NEUVILLETTE". Don't proceed as if you know more about my fic and that knowledge I need to possess to write that fic when you couldn't even BOTHER to read the fucking summary properly, much less the 30k word fic in itself. YOU want to correct ME? come back when you have a beta reader who can speak French to assist you in a fic WITH FRENCH and have read through ALL the dialogues involving Neuvillette.
I'm going in hiatus. I don't know when I'll be back, what I know is that I don't feel well (mentally) and I have thoroughly burned myself out. I hope you guys understands.

I will continue to remind everyone that "Pas De Deux" (the laws regarding attraction) is an ENEMIES TO LOVERS STORY and that the READER HATES LITTERALLY EVERYONE.
PSA: If I see one more comment making fun of legal term/ other languages in the comments of my fics I will not hesitate to pull every single one of my fics off wattpad (this includes "The Laws Regarding Attraction", "The Sun Who Proposed to The Moon", and "Eyes of Amber, Hands of Gold")
Me and my beta reader did NOT make sure every French and Mandarin was right, glossing through legal terms, only for anyone to make fun of it.
I make this these for free, out of the limited time and energy that I have; I do not expect to get praises all the time, but I do expect my readers to behave themselves.
Understand that I am a law student (law school is hard and the work load is many) that I do not need to write these fics or even put a sliver of care into them, but I do. I research everywhere for the little things in the fics, for it to be good.
If you think you are being funny, you are not. Being funny isn't on the expense of anything else; on other people, on other things, on *my* work.
If you don't understand something; open a dictionary. if I don't provide a translation, it is either because the reader wasn't suppose to know and/or it is a literary device.
Do not treat me as someone who will put words into my fics willy nilly. I don't. I care about my work. I treat you all with respect, and because this is my space you are entering, I expect you to treat my works with respect too.
@Euniveve12 omg i honestly don't know what to say to make you feel better but i feel your frustration , it's easy not to appreciate the good work you've done when you see other people not treat it in the way you expect to , but i do hope that you'll continue writing and finding joy in this hobby despite some people misbehaving . i absolutely love your works , you're such an underrated gem , and you inspired me to become a better writer < 3 i hope you're taking care of yourself well and goodluck with law school ! it's so admirable how you can manage your studies and writing , keep up the good work , love you > o < and i hope this kind of readers can develop proper etiquette .
