Kidneystones aren't the funniest things in life.
Let me get a breath and then update.
P.S. Hospitals really have the good stuff when it comes to pain. ^^

Okay, I think I need some help. I'm still alive, but I really need some opinions of the story I'm brooding over.

At this point I'm doubting everything and everyone, which seriously doesn't let me write for a long time now.

I want to break this circle - so: I put up the prologue of two stories I'm dabbling with. It would be nice to see if you like it - or not?

@FaySummers I'll send you a PM :)

@elveloy oh wow. How are you doing? :)

I just put up two prologues, New Era and Kiena. The ones with the funny cover, it's just something I uploaded so there is one.

Writing both? Only one... I don't even know at this point ^^

Covid 19 is no joke. Please be careful. For my US readers: NO parties. NO social life. Stick to books, Skype and games (if somebody looks for a nice ARK Server, let me know).

Wash your hands. Sneeze and cough in you elbow, avoid crowds. Listen to the WHO.

Stay safe. I had it. And it is no fun.

Long time no see. Still here. Kind of.

Today was the Friday for Future strike world wide. I was participating in a smaller one in my very hometown.

Only a few, around 200. We stood together, doing a march.

One of the best moments was when our primary school showed up. All kids. All teacher. Walking in a row, hands clasped and holding signs like:

          "we don't have a planet B"

          No we haven't.

Right now my generation is screwing up so badly and is killing our children. My parents are 76 and 73. Both participated in the march.

I've seen all generations seen. But nothing was driving home WHY we were there when we saw the kids from the primary school.

I'm watching the demonstration in New York City. The crowd.

Which is giving me hope that maybe - maybe - not all is lost.

And yep. I'm in a particular bad mood right now. :(

Sorry about the weird note above, very faint internet connection then. We're doing a boat cruise down the Danube from Budapest to Bucharest, then into Switzerland for a few days on our way to northern Italy. I'd love to visit Germany another time :)

Ursula K. LeGuin was known by many.

The virtual mother of many writers, she wrote stories of amazing depths and worlds full of wonder.

“The word for world is forest“

Or, in my case, EarthSea, an own world with fascinating characters.

Worlds full of poetry, of so much beauty, I never read the words, reading her books - I watched a movie which played in my head while reading.

Farewell, Mrs. LeGuin. Fly with the EarthSea dragons. You out of all of us are the one who knows their true name.

Our world will miss your colors and your warmth.
