Hello! I'm Fleur de Lys - writer, reader, editor and reviewer. 

My areas of interest here are (broadly) history, politics and world religions.

Writing is mainly just a hobby, although some days I wish I could make it my profession! I do it for fun, but I also love receiving feedback. I like to know how to improve my work - that's why I post it on Wattpad.

My first novel, Anastasia, is a historical fiction coming-of-age story. History is, I think, one of the best things that ever happened to the world. I'm currently most interested in 20th century Britain and Ireland, from the Edwardian era - where I've set Anastasia - right up to the signing of the Good Friday 
Agreement in 1998. The draft on Wattpad is a first draft but I have worked on it a lot since then! I am still tweaking and editing the story but if you would like to see some of the edited version, feel free to PM me.

I am also working on a spin-off book, the first few chapters of which are posted at the end of Anastasia.

Mount Asteria is set in an exclusive boarding school in modern-day Ireland. It's very much a work in progress and updates are currently suspended as I revise the story.

On the side - The Marauder Chronicles by @VioletMcgonagall1618, an account I share with @chickxn_wxngs - Harry Potter fanfiction prequel about Lily Evans and James Potter in their last year at Hogwarts. Following a long hiatus, it is to be completed in the coming months.
