Hey guys! Back with another Bible session :P
          
          I'mma just say it: The bible can be confusing and contradicting. If you read any two random verses, you may realize that they say exact different things.
          
          Example: 
          Matthew 6:14-15 - "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
          This says that you have to do good towards others for good to be done towards you.
          
          And yet, Ephesians says,
          “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
          Meaning you can't do anything to earn grace or goodness, it's all the power of God.
          
          First of all, one of the main problems with confusing, hypocritical verses is that we take them out of context. I heard that the US military is using a bible verse, something like "go out and fight for me' - God"  and such to get more people to fight, but that line is completely out of context. It was meant to have people go out into the world and spread His Word.
          
          Another reason the bible is confusing - particularly verses like these that have to do with faith and works - is because we simply don't understand.
          
          One of my church teachers gave a cool analogy, though.
          He told us, imagine this guy loves a lady. He's said it a hundred times, and she loves him too. It wouldn't be hard to believe this man when he says he loves her.
          Then he said, picture those two dating. Is he in love?  
          But now picture him dating her for six years and never proposing. Is he still in love?
          
          The basic gist of it is, faith without works is nothing. But so is works without faith. 
          Think of it the other way around, proposing without ever loving that person. It means nothing.
          
          I'm not sure where I'm going with this, so I'll just say BE GOOD PEOPLE, DO GOOD THINGS XD

How many of you have synesthesia? 
          Synesthesia is when you hear music, but you see shapes. Or you hear a word or a name and instantly see a color. Synesthesia is a fancy name for when you experience one of your senses through another. For example, you might hear the name "Alex" and see green.
          
          For me, I have chromesthesia. It's really cool and I honestly never thought there was anything weird with it. I just figured I inherited it from my dad. But basically I "see" colors with music. (it's more like I "feel" colors actually, but I'm not sure that's a thing)
          Chromesthesia is defined as “the eliciting of visual images (colors) by aural stimuli; most common form of synesthesia, so you might have it.
          
          Then again, you might not. Only about 1-4 percent of the population get diagnosed, but still! 
          
          Anyways I found out about this yesterday and became low-level obsessed XD

          Bible time? Sure, why not <3
          The Lord is good! Of course, many of you know this, but it's always refreshing to have a reminder of just how great God is. 
          Some verses for you:
          
          "No one is good but One, that is, God." Mark 10:18
          
          "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7:11
          
          "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him." Nahum 1:7
          
          In basic terms, God is good. He can only ever BE good, He is nothing BUT good. He's perfect in all of his ways, and He loves you. Evil cannot be in His presence - it doesn't work like that. Everything He does is good. 
          The Lord can and will use all bad and hard things in your life for good, if you trust Him that is.
          
          So trust Him :) He knows what's best for you <3
