born on talos , they lost their parents when they were very young after a meltdown destroyed the new dawn industrial plant , causing it to explode . they were taken in by their uncle artúr , who raised them and taught them the 'old ways' . despite this , bloodhound was drawn to technology , and ultimately used both new and old methods to take down a goliath . artúr died when the goliath terrorized their village once more , but not without handing them his axe and giving them the title of blóðhundur that they'd worked many winters to earn . they befriended a raven in their final fight with the goliath , which they firmly believed to be their uncle reincarnated into this raven , thus giving it the name 'artúr' . now in the apex games , bloodhound fights with the aid of technology , shedding blood to honor the allfather as they paved their way to glory , and the eyes of artúr to guide them .
