Hello, fellow sapient beings (sentient and sapient are different things, search it up)! I've been away from this app for so long, neither reading nor writing(pretty obvious).
A little bit of an update on life, I've just finished my last exams of my last year of high school and am about to do a 1-month internship in a few weeks as a requirement for graduating. That's fun. And I don't need to worry about college since I've been accepted in the 2nd best national university in my country after spending 3 days by myself in a city half a thousand kilometres away to do my entrance exams.
Now, for the part most of you would be more interested in, I'm sadly announcing that the current Reincarnated as a Dragon series will be discontinued.
"Current" is the keyword in the sentence above. After rereading my own story, I've realized that, while it's not that bad, it's cringe. The first book was made because I was in the blues in the middle of COVID-19 and saw writing as a way to vent my frustration. When I reached the second book, I was happier and didn't see this as a meaningful pastime anymore, leading me to heavy writer's block and general disinterest in continuing my own story.
In conclusion, now that I've gained a little more experience, am happier, and gained more mature taste in writing, I'm not satisfied with continuing the series as it is now.
So I've decided to do a rewrite! I'm literally cooking up a Word file right now with the new non-poem prologue already finished and chapter 1 in progress.
There won't be that many changes in the general plot, but some characters will be removed (the youkai and Reimu is not mine. Yukari is literally my pfp and both characters comes from a series of bullet hell games called Touhou. Search it up. good shit). The cause of Barry/Troy's death will also be changed to something else rather than depression. That's the limit of what I can say without spoiling much.

@Gabogame3 oh I'm very excited! I'm so glad you're finally continuing (rewriting) the story. And my patience actually paid off this time!

One more thing, I don't plan to upload anything until I start college. Hopefully, I already have enough chapters up my sleeve to do two uploads per week without messing with me trying to get used to a new lifestyle. So I'm sorry, but for those who'll be waiting, you'd be waiting for a few months.
