I have a penchant towards expressing myself in writing, since a long time now. Since childhood, poetry played a cardinal role in my life. I was in grade four when I wrote my first poem “The Spring” and to my surprise it got published in “The Tribune” after I applied for it.

Till date, I get goose bumps to think about my first poem that was acknowledged way back in the year ’94. Following that, I started writing for the entertainment section of Tribune regularly. It was a kick off for me to pen down my overflowing thoughts and emotions in the form of poem, story or an article moving forward.

I was trapped in the saga the time and I wasn’t aware which way to go. At that time, poetry helped me a lot to vent out all my emotions that otherwise wouldn’t have helped me in a constructive manner. As I grew up, I discovered that I had collated numerous incidences & thoughts whether it was a milestone I achieved or a failure I encountered. 

I wrote about even the trivial things happening in my life starting from my first love, happiness, break up, success and all other unspeakable moments. I am sure most of you can actually empathize to my contemplation.
