Hello all.
Sadly I have deleted When We Were Young. That version of the story was going no where in my head so I am currently revising it from scratch during the lockdown where I have been have been working from home.
Hopefully there will be something better to show you as I have several projects on the go at the minute.
Meanwhile my other stories are available for you to read.

Hey gang!
When We Were Young has hit a block I'm afraid. Nothing I am writing on it seems to fit so its on the back burner for a while. I have got something else happening which is following like a dream so maybe I'll get that up for you if you're interested.
NaNoWriMo sadly was a nonstarter due to my health but now I'm better I'm getting my head back into work.
Sorry for all those looking for an update I did try my best but its just not working.

Just to let you know I haven't forgotten about When We Were Young. Real life has caught up once again. Between getting my health back on track, PhD's applications flying out to Universities everywhere and losing my job (out of the blue - apparently being ill isn't profitable!) focus isn't exactly here right now. I have written a few paragraphs of the new chapter which I am not exactly happy about, plus I have another WIP on the go which I am LOVING so if you want me to post that as well I will.
I recently visited the place that inspired The World According to Jessie and have put a few photos on my Instagram which is @gemmiejewel if you are interested in following. Same goes for my Twitter handle if you want to hear me bleat on about the world going to Hell in a handcart with a few wombles in charge. But hey ho.
Again, sorry its so long in between updates. I am taking part in NanNoWriMo as well this year so hopefully things will get done then.

Chapter Fourteen is up. Its short and snappy but will be expanded on in the next chapter. Thank you for your patience. Medical wise, think Im getting back on track. Still off work which sucks but is giving me more time to plot ideas. I have a new bunny bouncing around for a possible short story collection set in a New York bar so if you would like the sound of that please let me know.
Hopefully I will get more stuff up later in the week.
