It's great to be back again! Chapter Seventeen (TITLT) is up now, can't wait for the finale. See you next month! :)

GeneralSweet17

Sorry guys, but I'm going to be putting the book, TITLT on hold for a month or two. I really enjoy writing this book, but the one month quota thing is really putting a lot of stress on me. Schoolwork has been piling up and to keep writing the story at the moment I would have to put aside schoolwork in order to continue writing. For the writers out there, DON"T DO THAT. Schoolwork should be your #1 priority.

I write these chapters every month, I don't have a stash of chapters ready before releasing, they come out when I finish them. This would be fine if I hadn't set a deadline for them. The last thing I want to do is let you guys down, because I know as a reader its' frusterating when the author stops posting, but at the moment I have to think of my personal health first.

Hope you all are doing well and taking care of yourselves. Good luck!

(Pt 3)

So as we go into this next year, I hope that we can all take the time to reflect on our lives, and how we affect the lives of others. Our past does not define nor can change the future, but our actions can. Stay safe everybody, and let's hope for a brighter future.

(Pt.2)

But through all of this, we have seen the kind souls of generous and hospital people. Organizations have stepped up to donate thousands of dollars to others in need. People start to explore their surroundings, appreciate the Earth's beautiful landscape. People say hello to their neighbors, form online communities, and take the time out of their day to help or surprise someone else. Through this we've learned to adapt, and refocus our minds on the truly important aspects of our lives. I view it as something like a "global reset". But most importantly, we've learned how to work together. We've rediscovered that crucial value to our trait as a human being.

A lot of things happened in 2020, not all good, not all bad. But 2021 can be the time that we change things. A time we realize that more good comes out of us working together, rather than fighting to obtain our pride and reputations. I'm speechless because this is something we still have to teach people. I'm speechless that this is something our culture does not approve of, that instead it tries to turn us against one another simply for the drama of it all. On the flip side though, I'm speechless of how many good hearted and kind soul there are in the world. I'm speechless on how many people stood up, whether to protect everyone else from the virus, in politics, or helping out a struggling buisness/charity. It's truly amazing to watch this.

I'm not saying the world is perfect, and of course every situation has it's pages covered in asterics. Have your opinions! Voice them! They are what make you a unique individual! But also be able to take a step back and see the bigger picture with an open mind, to remember that there's always another story you're unaware of.

(Pt. 1 I ran out of room)

2021...what a crazy year it's been in it's first week.

This will not be an update, nor an author's note. This is a letter which I hope, will explain why.

I try my best to keep an open mind of other peoples' opinions and beliefs, which is why I avoid voicing political opinions. Right now though, I feel like I must use this platform to make some form of a statement. This letter isn't a rant on politics, I don't like to do that. It's a letter explaining the lessons and bigger picture that we can take from our difficult times, whether national or personal.

As many of you may know, the US Capital was invaded on the 6th of January. It was a difficult scene to watch and I feel very emotional about it. But right now, I have a message for everyone. Whether you're from the US or from another country.

What happened that day is something far beyond the tangles of politics. It is something we can relate to as a people, and as a society. Our unity as human beings is what holds our societies together. Through 2020 we have battled against a worldwide pandemic. We have watched people come together to fight for the greater good. Health care and essential workers constantly are putting their lives at stake to help us through this time. Teachers have to constantly adapt to the constant changes in their teaching environments while still trying to provide adequat education to their students. Small buisnesses everywhere are struggling to even stay afloat.

Hey guys, wow, what a crazy first week of 2021. Because of this, my updates are going to be a bit slow. I will continue to work on my stories, but I might not be making my first week of the month deadline. Stay safe everybody and let's hope for a brighter future.
