If you had feelings for your best friend but you suppressed them so hard because you thought they would never like you back that you forgot that you ever even like them to begin with and then you thought you liked a different person but you were really just hiding your heartbreak and then when that same best friend who you are in love with confesses their feelings for you you shoot them down because you're confused about how you feel and then a few weeks later you realize your mistake and go to tell them but they've fallen for somebody else but that doesn't work out so you think you might have a chance to tell them how you ACTUALLY feel but then they tell you they don't have feelings for anybody before you can get the words out and now your emotionally numb and heartbroken,

I realize nobody is going to read this, but I might have just lost my best friend who I may or may not be in love with. Idk what to do, they're the most important person in my life. If anybody has any advice, please let me know. I don't know how to fix this.
