Hi, gremlins. This is Vee, and no, this isn’t a farewell message.
Writing was just a passing time for me before. I write on-and-off sa mga Facebook groups with questionable pacing and plots, but I never took it seriously since what I went after was the validation from it. This time is different. I’m loving what I’m doing, as much as I’m scared of what I’m getting myself into.
Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa mga nagbabasa ng story ko, especially sa Usad, Manunulat who took the time to give feedbacks and review na talagang nakatulong sa ‘kin. When I first joined the community, I knew I had a lot to improve and malakas naman akong sinampal no’n when I started diving to know ‘what’ I have to improve. And knowing that there are people in my corner who can correct me and give me insights is comforting, to the point that I just write without remembering my fear of exposure.
My friends who know who I am, thank you. You hype me up each time na may shine-share ako sa inyo and that means a lot to me. If ever I have readers out there, pati ‘yung silent and offline na nagbabasa, thank you for giving my work a chance. Mabagal man akong mag-update, it just means I’m still learning a lot about the story and the characters. Outlining everything from the get-go will kill the fun for me and I might end up feeling like I’m writing because I’m obligated to finish it.
Hopefully y’all stick around. This is an hour where I reflect a lot and the conclusion I went to with my messy thoughts is that I wasn’t very vocal about this. I’m very thankful for your support, and I’m grateful that you exist. Wuvwuv.
I promised na huling palugit na 'yung February 14. Please expect the first chapter of BCA tomorrow! Just to match it since araw ng mga puso bukas. <3
