Being a writer means playing games in your mind. These games are found in current reality, past reality, the future, and fiction. Being alive means to be a channeler of experience, in a contrast of energy and lack of energy, while having some kind of faith.
When a person faces death, he asks whether he has won against entropy. That is everything for each person, against the ultimate taker of time.
Every instance of life requires strategical reconnaissance, as per life's rigid rules, and as per the creation of active-participation games. Become part of the story; become part of the simulation.
[Reading, repetition and innovation - these are the mind's whetstone.]
Take the idea in the dead script and make sure it is ambivalent - not one with too much voluntary blindness. (though, good or bad, as said in 'The Overflowing Brain', your mind will change.) Ideas are likely bloodless and therefore dead, if the script is old. If you have an enriched understanding of any particular topic, I have done my job.

Drama, of music, images and the other senses of our body, is the theater of the igenwelt, such that, upon connecting the dots, we find the patterns and the resolutions to each set of connections.
"A game is fiction until it is played. The fact that the game, familiar or unknown, was played, represents a myth."
