Dear Wattpad, I hope you are all happy, healthy and safe in this brand new year.

Last night I woke up with Rin on my mind and I'm kicking myself for abandoning her story for such a long time.

I'm reviewing, editing and fixing a few things before I get to new chapters.

I am grateful for all of you waiting for new content. Please know I will do my best. <3

Today, third week into meditation practice, I suddenly imagined myself sitting next to Jin under the red maple tree outside the village. Not as myself, not as anyone in particular. But I was there, meditating next to him, imagining his face, eyes closed, breathing steadily. I felt equal. Like someone who grew up around there and was in the mindset of the time, was living life similar to him.

Did we just finish sword practice and decided it was time to train our minds as well? If so, how long did we sit there? Who was the one to open their eyes first?

Being there, sharing the space with him, brought me a great deal of peace.

I'm going back to reading instead of writing for a while. I'm too much of a fan girl and Jin (oh, dear Jin...) isn't the only one occupying my mind at the moment.

With that being said, I have the layout for Of Arrows and Men finished, the whole story is in my head (and a chunk of it on paper) and I WILL 100% get back to it, but first I have to face my other obsessions. Sweep them off the table, kick under the rug, lock in a box and dump into the ocean...

Wish me luck, it's a thorny path, as some of you might know...

this message may be offensive
I just finished reading Patriotism by Yukio Mishima, and holy shit. This book will make you feel so many unknown, contradictory emotions. You won't even know when or what exactly hit you but damn it's beautiful.

Today's the day, over 1,000 reads! To everyone who spent even a minute of their time reading Of Arrows and Men, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm not sure where I'm headed in life, if to become a writer, a traveler (certainly not a singer), but it's definitely nice to get a glimpse of who I could be through writing.

I hope all of you are able to find that something or someone in your lifetime. Or maybe just yourself. :)

Next chapter will be posted a little later, unfortunately. I didn't get a chance to write at all for the past two weeks. Need to set my priorities here...
