Happy new year everyone!

I love the sky so much. It’s so beautiful and mesmerising at all times of the day. I love the clouds, the colour, stars, the sun, the moon, the wind, the trees, the rain, the shadows, everything. If I could marry the sky, I would, and I would never part with it. I would spend all my time in the sky if possible.

You guys know that weird TikTok live trend with the AI acting and stuff? Is it just me that feels like that’s a one way ticket to literally programming your brain into developing tics-? I don’t really know how the lives work but I’m sure if you were to do it long enough, it could probably happen

Anybody got any tips on how to be a good horror author? I’ve gotten dozens of horror stories I want to write but I don’t think I can actually write something to keep people on the edge of their seats lmao

@The-feral-pan omg thank you so much! That’s really helpful, I appreciate it :]]

There's a YouTube channel that I watch sometimes to get writing advice. The channel is called 'Writer Brandon McNulty', and he has several videos not only about writing horror but about other genres as well!
But my personal advice is to write about what you find scary.

For anyone that has watched Creep (2014) and/or Creep 2 (2017), am I allowed to like Joseph/Aaron?? Like he’s a terrible person yes, but people still love Ghostface and Chucky-
There’s just something about him that I want to love but I don’t want to fawn over someone that I really shouldn’t, kind of like how people were loving The Grabber before they remembered he’s a p3dø :,(

I say you can like someone/something without condoning the negative aspects of it

@The-feral-pan that sounds super interesting! I’ll have to look for both this one and the original! :D

@HaroldsGreed I will say that Thirteen Ghosts is a kinda weird movie. It's a remake of a 1960s movie of the same name. Here is an overview of the plot: A ghost hunter named Cyrus and his psychic assistant Dennis lead a team to capture a ghost nicknamed the Juggernaut, but several people (including Cyrus) die while the spirit was captured. We are then introduced to Cyrus' widowed nephew Arthur and his family, and the nanny Maggie, who move into Cyrus' mansion after Authur inherited it. Dennis, Arthur, and Maggie explore the extremely strange mansion, where all the rooms are made of glass with Latin inscribed into them, all while encountering twelve dangerous ghosts who seek to kill them.

When you have really cool story ideas you must write immediately but as soon as you need to think of how to actually word it, you lose all motivation :,) </33

Mood, except I start mine and feel like I have no motivation to finish the book.

Has anyone else read the ‘City of Ember’ series? I’m up to the third book of the four, and personally I think they deserve more love-

HaroldsGreed

@HeliatroCipher ohhhh a code assignment sounds interesting! The assessment we had to do was about cardboard cities painted black, mirrors and flashlights lmao
            Totally underestimated book series :]

            Fun!
I read City of Ember long before we did in intermediate school. When we did get to it I got to help people with the code assignment we were given- I was also obsessed with codes at that time so it was fun.
            We also watched the movie

@HeliatroCipher City of Ember has to be my favourite because we read it during class in primary school and the class sort of bonded in a way for that whole term? And then we got to watch the movie which was also pretty cool! :D
