He does nothing to dissuade your emotions, and  if he didn’t have a black void in place of his heart and consider love to be the most heinous crime imaginable, he might love you, too.
 
The Dark Lord went to some lengths to make sure he retained your loyalty. He is very kind to those who serve him well, and if anyone served him well, it was you. He lavished rewards on you, his most beloved follower. You were even given leave to command legions of Death Eaters as you chose, without first checking with your Lord. But, of course, you would never even consider doing something that would make him anything less than proud of you.
 
Your name is feared by Death Eaters. Your power and control was second only to the Dark Lord himself, and you are a harsh leader. You exacted perfection, because your Lord deserved no less than perfection. If you ever heard someone muttering about your Master, your punishments were swift and cruel. Death Eaters were as careful of what they said around you as they were when they were in the presence of the Dark Lord himself. 

It never occurred to you to question your Master, and it never will. You rarely went out and fought, since you were too dear  to the Dark Lord for him to allow you to place yourself in jeopardy. However, this does not mean that you did not cast your fair share of curses. Prisoners were often brought to you for interrogation, and interrogation is a skill you became horribly good at. When captured by Aurors, you proudly proclaimed that you were guilty and went to Azkaban declaring your undying devotion to your Lord. You now await the time when he will free you. Because, of course, he will free you. You are his most faithful servant, and you are sure he will never truly die.
