Thanks for taking the time to read about me! 

Born and raised in Ireland I moved to the UK in 1992 to study mathematics, where I live to this day.

After graduation I worked in the City of London and my experiences there set me on my journey to become a writer. 

In my writing I aspire to weave personal experience with fiction in the hope that they will become indistinguishable and give my stories a ring of implausible authenticity. 

Although my first source of literary inspiration was Haruki Murakami, I eventually realised that non-native sources are limiting. For this reason I have become more interested in reading native English writers, but not before doing some careful research. My writing style is quite cross-genre and hence difficult to find similar authors, but I encountered something similar in some of Jonathan Lethem's writing.

Fear of Squirrels is my first book and I have been working on it for a few years. It is based on the experiences of my life in London but it is a work of fiction. I shall be releasing it progressively here in the hope that the complete novel will be available on wattpad.com before New Year's Eve 2019.
