@Iamlikealwayshigh I like how you think and it might be that but then again he's no older than Niklaus and wouldn't we just love to see Caroline with him but don't worry romance is not something that is in Elena's life right now at least not openly maybe subtle hints of romance but not full open relationship. 
            And you might just be surprised with what I have in mind for Kieran. Don't worry though I'll do my best to keep you and other readers interested in the story. 

@HarshiBan I get the whole she is reincarnated and older than her body, but I keep looking at it from an outsider's pov, and see a man and a child. In my opinion, I feel like if they were to be in a relationship, it should be like a one-sided crush sort of thing (and to have him oblivious on his part, but to feel something for her, yet not know it's there) where she dances around the IDEA of them being together, while not actually doing anything about it. As frustrating as it is. I think she should date vampires. They're youthful and hot. With her soul being an adult in a teenager's body, I feel it would be slightly better for her to date someone who is physically closer to her in age. Maybe when she's older she could run into Kieran and they could reconnect, and slowly progress from old student and teacher to something else
